A 124-year-old bed and breakfast mansion near an RV campground overlooking Darlings Lake on the outskirts of Yarmouth reports brisk business from the Yarmouth-Portland, U.S. ferry this past summer.
The mansion comes with a colourful maritime history, too. Its builder in 1912 warned a friend to retire with ‘flying colours’ and not take command of the ill-fated passenger vessel, Titanic.
