The Dartmouth resident has has been active in selling homes in that market – a neighbourhood which has seen an uptick in purchase and sales offers, as I noted in my Saturday edition of The Notebook.

Learning on the spurs of her well known mother Carolyn Davis Stewart’s own busy real estate practice, Kim began as assistant to her mother, before launching her second generation career as a realtor over the last year-plus.

Over the last two months, The Notebook has carried a series of articles on a hot as coals single family real estate scene in the very trendy Halifax Northend.

In 2019, studying the purchase and sales of homes in this neighbourhood, I have noted that the area defined as the
North End and Central Halifax, has seen more than one hundred house sales.

Earlier in the week, I reported in a news scoop that not only is developer Jim Spatz going to live in his nearly finished Pavilion condos at South Park and Sackville streets, so too is the man who helped to successfully co-sell the units.

Prominent Halifax realtor David Dunn has also just bought one of the last remaining units in the project.

The item was teased as a news item on Thursday, and for this update story, I spoke with Dunn, who began selling the then pre-construction units at the Pavilion, joining forces with noted realtor Carolyn Davis Stewart, and up and coming realtor Phil Slauenwhite.

Deceased Bitcoin Entrepreneur’s Realtor Top Performer

Jill Hann was the realtor of choice for failed bitcoin operator Gerald Cotten, who in his last year in his life engaged the Royal LePage Atlantic prominent realtor to acquire a vast Halifax-Bedford-Chester real estate portfolio.

Cotten’s bitcoin entity ended up in a spectacular bankrupty, posting liabilities running into several hundreds of millions of dollars, which left hundreds of his investors without their life savings.

For the last decade, the David Dunn Team, at Royal LePage Atlantic, has occupied Number One spot.

Not only is the developer going to live in the nearly finished Pavilion condos on South Park & Sackville streets – the man who helped to successfully co-sell the units, has also just bought one of the last remaining units.

Prominent Halifax realtor David Dunn began selling the then pre-construction units at the Pavilion, joining forces with noted realtor Carolyn Davis Stewart, and up and coming realtor Phil Slauenwhite.

Within months of launching the 2015 pre-construction sales, the realtor team managed to sell 80% of the units.

Tim Margolian, the veteran Halifax commercial real estate broker, is the 12th busiest agent at Royal LePage Atlantic.

He handles commercial real estate for that realty firm, which is headed up by Ralph Stephens, while Royal LePage Atlantic is mostly devoted to moving and listing residential properties.

Margolian has owned his own commercial brokerage businesses in Halifax, and has been active in that industry since the 1970s.

Meet Realtor Colleen Ryan: A Royal LePage Top Ten Individual Sales Agent In The Atlantic

The word is in and Halifax realtor Colleen Ryan has been feted as the Royal LePage Top Ten Individual Realtor in the Atlantic – taking first place among all the East Coast agents with the Royal LePage banner.

As the top individual performer, she is first spot at the brokerage – but other realtors such as Carolyn Davis Stewart and the David Dunn team, also consistently win high honours – but they are ranked as realtor teams, while Ryan is ranked as an ‘individual’ realtor on her own, without owing a team.
