Republican Fox TV’s Tucker Carlson Once Owned a Chester Island – But He Mispronounced Ottawa – He Should Know Better
Right-wing TV pundit, Tucker Carlson the other day botched up the pronunciation of Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.
As the CBC was quick to report he stressed “the second syllable of the city’s name instead of the first — essentially pronouncing it “aw-TUH-wah” instead of “AW-tuh wah”, the public broadcaster reported.
His mispronunciation was a right-winger’s slight of Democrat nominee Joe Bidden’s VP running mate.
